What is it?
 

 

The _smartRULES is a business rules management system and is conceptualized as the software system used to define, implement, execute, monitor and maintain the variety and complexity of the decision logic consumed by core systems in an organization. This logic, also known as business rules, includes policies, requirements and conditional instructions used to determine the tactical actions that occur in applications and systems.

When is a rule engine used?
 

It is recommended the use of a rules engine for any situation where there are people executing the understanding of the business and approving based on their acquired knowledge, or when there are interactions between systems that need to be analyzed in a repetitive and exploratory way, or even when it is necessary to gather various information, both internal and external and from this carry out an analysis and a decision making.

FINANCIAL MARKET - the _smartRULES today executes more than 8 million cycles of processing business rules, monthly and through it pass all the rules of financing of some banks, are almost 400,000 contracts analyzed per month. In this scenario, the business rules engine allows us to validate the input data, perform consultations with official public sources (public or partner webservices) and identify, without human interaction, possible risks or frauds in the data, which standardized and consisted of delivering the check rate of each operation, setting up the kit of evidence (digital fingertips) of each process.
